1. WHAT WE COLLECT

We collect your email address when you sign up or log in. If you use Google OAuth, we receive your email and name from Google. We store the event data you create (event names, dates, budgets, programs, etc.) in our database. We do not collect payment information.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

We use your email to authenticate you and send magic login links. We use your event data to provide the planning and export features of the service. We do not use your data to train AI models. We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. DATA STORAGE

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL database) hosted on AWS infrastructure. Event data is stored as structured JSON and is associated with your user account. Public event site pages are accessible to anyone with the link.

4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We use the following third-party services: Anthropic (Claude AI) and Google (Gemini AI) for generating event planning content — your event data is sent to these APIs when you use AI features. Luma for event listing integration. Notion for export features (optional). Google Calendar for scheduling integration (optional). Each provider has their own privacy policy.

5. PUBLIC EVENT PAGES

When you publish an event site page, it is publicly accessible at a URL containing your event ID. Anyone with this URL can view your event details. You can delete an event at any time to remove the public page.

6. COOKIES & SESSION

We use cookies to maintain your login session. These are necessary for authentication and cannot be disabled while using the service. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

7. DATA RETENTION

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You can delete individual events at any time from the dashboard. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us at hello@events.wtf.

8. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@events.wtf.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy. We will notify users of material changes via email or a notice on the service.
